Information about the XVII International Accordion Composition Competition, organized by Hauspoz, the Accordion Association of the Basque Country:
The objective of the Francisco Escudero Competition is to encourage the creation of works for solo accordion and chamber music with a maximum of 4 performers. It is open to participants of all ages and nationalities.
The inscriptions will be made through Google Forms. You will find the link in the rules. The deadline for registration is September 23.
The winning work will be announced at the Awards Gala that will take place on October 13 at the Teatro Modelo in Zarautz. The score will be published by the organization, premiered at the Gala of the next edition of the Contest, and the composer will receive an economic allowance of €2,000.
