Fantasia II for solo harp is related to Fantasia for harpsichord, which I wrote in 2021. What both works have in common musically is a sense of adventure. It was also important to me to keep the title free from references to anything specific. Each listener can create their own fantasy and adventure of mind during this piece. In a technical sense, I especially wanted to explore staccato playing on the harp which enriches textures and is not very often heard in harp repertoire.
