Kuule, minä sävellän!/Very Young Composers (FI): Riitta Tikkanen presents the project and after the short presentation there will be a workshop for the participants of the seminar.

At the Sibelius Academy
Participants of the seminar are welcome to attend the Group teaching course at Sibelius Academy from 16.00 to 17.30. The course will be held at the Ackté hall (4th floor) of the T Building of the Sibelius Academy, address: Töölönkatu 28, 00260 Helsinki. From the Finnish National Opera, it takes around 10 minutes to walk to the T Building of Sibelius Academy.
At the Finnish National Opera
The Finnish National Opera has granted us 20 tickets per night for both Thursday and Friday for the performances of their Ihmepoika A school opera, created jointly by pupils in lower-level comprehensive school and opera professionals.
The performances are at Alminsali hall of the Finnish National opera (which we all will visit during the seminar on Thursday afternoon) at 18.00 o’clock. We will also get an introduction to the opera project before the performance on both days, and for this we need to be at the opera house no later than at 17.40 o’clock. The duration of the performance is about 40 minutes.

The tickets for these performances need to be booked in advance, so if you wish to attend the performance, please inform Hanna and me no later than Wednesday, 7h of November. Please also tell which performance day (Thursday or Friday) suits better for you. Tickets will be booked on first come, first served basis.
