I started my music career as a choir singer, which quickly evolved into a passion for composition and music theory. My pieces feature dynamic structures, blending contrasting lyrical and chaotic passages to create a diverse musical expression. Through polyphonic textures and a rich harmonic backbone, my music aims to invite the listener to a maximalist and colourful sonic experience. I recently won the festival Rusk’s Composition Competition for the second year in a row, as well as the Composer Competition for the Runeberg Choir’s 100th year anniversary.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in composition from the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg. I have also studied at the Gotland School of Music Composition and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in composition at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki.
