The Society of Finnish Composers is a non-profit organisation whose members are composers in the field of concert music, or classical music. The purpose of the Society is to provide a community for its members located around the country, to safeguard and promote the artistic, professional and financial interests of composers, and to contribute to the creative musical arts in Finland.

The Society organises training events for its members with experts from various fields. The Society’s meetings, seminars and panel discussions offer opportunities for members to network and to participate in discussions on current topics.
